From the Ground Up — Boomer Group Inc.
Boomer Group Inc. was founded in 2001 by Bruce Laing — but the story starts a decade earlier. Bruce began his career in the early 1990s overseeing the ground-up development and management of new golf facilities across the DFW area. Working daily alongside architects, engineers, and skilled tradespeople, he developed a deep respect for the craft of construction and the discipline required to deliver complex projects on time and on budget.
That experience inspired Bruce to make the leap into construction full-time. He founded Boomer Group Inc. in 2001, bringing the same operational precision and commitment to integrity that defined his golf industry career into residential construction across the DFW Metroplex.
As Texas ADU laws evolved and DFW homeowners began exploring ways to add guest houses, multigenerational living spaces, and income-generating units to their properties, we saw an opportunity to specialize. In 2026, we launched DFW ADU Pro® — a dedicated ADU design-build division focused exclusively on accessory dwelling units across the DFW Metroplex.
